Amerks Can’t Put Out The Flames; Losing 4-1

 An ailing Rochester Americans team couldn’t stop the Quad City Flames from blowing past them tonight.  With a team that belongs in quarentine, there weren’t many healthy bodies on the ice tonight.

Amerks Home Game on Wednesday

The team is back at home for a home game on Wednesday night against the Quad City Flames, this will be the Flames first ever visit to Rochester.  The Rochester Americans concluded a four game road trip on Monday night with a 4-2 loss against the Iowa Stars.

With only 15 players on the roster in tonights game against the Quad City Flames, the Amerks lost there fourth straight by the final score of 4-2, they have also now lost 20 of the last 22 games.

Mancari’s Last Minute Goal Not Enough For Two

  It was another tough night for the Rochester Americans tonight when they failed to pick up two points after holding a lead againt the Grand Rapids Griffins for two periods.  The Amerks did take the game all the way to a shootout, which is good for one point in the standings.

A Brighter Future? We Hope So…

When the Amerks only managed to put away 21 goals in the whole month of December (with only one win from the Hamilton Bulldogs), no one expected an inprovement coming into January.  And at first, no one got one.

Weekend Ends With One Win and Two Losses

The Amerks finished the three game weekend with a win and two losses.  They also managed to score more goals in the past three games than the previous nine combined.  Up next they have a four game road trip against Grand Rapids (twice), Quad City, and Iowa.

Three Game Weekend; Two at Home

The Amerks are at home tonight to play against the Manchester Monarchs, travel to Hamilton against the Bulldogs on Saturday, and return home to face off against the Peoria Rivermen on Sunday.

Clark MacArthur Selected for AHL All Star Game

D&C - Left winger Clarke MacArthur, the only Rochester Americans player producing more than a point a game, was named to the Canadian team for the AHL All-Star Classic for the second year in a row.
