Holiday Games: Four Games This Week for the Amerks

Anthony Stewart Returns To Rochester

The Florida Panthers have sent Anthony Stewart back to Rochester.  He has appeared in 13 games for Florida this season with no points and a plus-one rating. In 18 games with the Amerks he has eight goals and 10 assists.

All We Want For Christmas Is A Win

Dear Santa, 
The Amerks have now lost eight straight after losing to the Toronto Marlies by the score of 4-2 on Friday night.  The last time they won a game was on November 30 against Manchester.
So, we want to send you one last Christmas wish and that is for a win against Binghamton on Saturday night.

Rats Hand the Amerks Seventh Straight Loss

Last night, the Rochester Americans lost their seventh straight game to the Albany River Rats in a 3-2 loss.
The Amerks had a fairly good start with a great goal from Rob Globke with assists from Clarke MacArthur and Marek Zagrapan at 4:44 in the first period.  The period ended with the Amerks up 1-0.

Tyler Plante Recalled to Amerks

Goaltender Tyler Plante was recalled to the Amerks on 12/19 from the ECHL Florida Everblades.  No word on if he’ll be playing or if Shantz is being sent elsewhere.

Last night’s game was anything but, pretty for the Rochester Americans as they lost 5-1 to the Rockford IceHogs.
